NETWORKING FORMS OF GLOBAL TERRORISM

Tanja Miloshevska

Abstract

This article suggests that global terrorist organizations are veryrational in their behaviour and rely on network structures during their operation.Information technology creates conditions for the establishment and strengtheningof network forms of organization and also realizes their comparative advantages overhierarchical forms. Today, with the development of the latest scientific and technicalachievements and communication facilities, terrorists adapted to new circumstances andcreated a network of terrorist organizations whose organizational cells exist in all parts ofthe world. The purpose of this paper is to prove the hypothesis whether the "new" terrorism isevolving towards network-warfare action or whether between the degree of activity ofterrorist organizations and the degree of acceptance of network forms of organization thereis a positive correlation.
